Didn't go for the lecture today... Was down with a severe headache....

About 60% of it went away after sleeping till 1pm...

After that, went online. Checked my mail... animated and did a few touch-ups for our powerpoint slides which we will be presenting tomorrow...

Oh yea, found the torrent file for Full Moon Wo Sagashite. It's one big one; 52 episodes in total;8.48 GB. Seems like it will take about 2 weeks to finish downloading...

Nothing much happened today. But the after school programs were good.

4.40pm- Decided not go for the It2505 Lecture as it was obviously useless. We gave our admin cards to Sok Ee[Thanks alot!] and went to Grassroot for some arcades. That lasted a good 2 hours.

After that, went to AMK's S11 with Steven, Elaine, Chris and Jun Kai. The rest of the story's imaginable. Thanks.

Lately, I have this feeling of insecurity which I have never felt before for the last 17 years... How strange... am I... turning humane? Social problems have never bothered me because I thought it was nothing.

Turns out that I was wrong. But hey, taking the business modules mean that I must be sociable right? Or am I wrong? But there are always some imbeciles whom I just can't work with in the past. That left a bad experience.

Nice, I managed to blabber some of my thoughts.

Didn't update the past few days due to trivial matters.

Monday again... Started off with IT2505 Quiz. Quite ez, I think I will score well.

After that, e-commerce tutorial. Then, emailed Practical 6 of DBMS to Mr Lim.

The other tutorials were pretty much the same.

7pm-Darren's tuiton. Got my pay.

I cut things short to write some crap here... Recently, as most people may have noticed, there seemed to be some... nvm... Not that it has anything to do with me. I'm not naive anymore.

This is my horoscope reading for the day.

Hmm... let's see, I woke up at 11am today and left for the mrt at 12.10pm. Then Sok Ee smsed me and said that she's not coming as she was not feeling well. Kinda disappointing, but it can't be helped.

Anyways, took the train and alighted at Payar Lebar, boarded bus 135 and off to Parkway Parade. All routes were accurate, thanks to streetdirectory.com. Reached there at 1.40pm. First to arrive.

Shortly after that, Ying Ting arrived, followed by Si Wei and Jun Kai. After standing outside like idiots and getting our hair blown here and there for about 20 minutes, we finally decided to go to KFC for some refreshments.

Chris arrived shortly after we finished it. Then we headed off to East Coast Park. Borrowed some bikes for $2/hr and off we go. Ar... dunno how to cycle. So patiently, Chris and Jun Kai taught me the fundamentals of cycling. About an hour later, I know how to cycle!

Chris suggested going to the hawker which was a few kilometers away, so it was a challenge for me. Had a few falls and once my bike slammed onto a lamp post. I got a scratch on my left thumb. But my bike was alright.

Anyways, we made it there, we bought 5 big cups of coconut water for $1 each. It was very sweet... ~.~ but I managed to finish it, along with some of Ying Ting's. Nice refreshment.

Headed off to ar... a Jetty and enjoyed the sea breeze and some scenery.

Called Steven and he finally wanted to come, along with Elaine... It was around 5.20pm at that time.

Anyways, made our way back and returned our bikes while waiting for those two to arrive...

About an hour later, Chris left for his steamboat. Bided goodbye, and we four continued to enjoy how the place intrigued our senses.

Apparently, one of themany reasons for this outing was that Ying Ting wanted to taste the cake at Awfully Chocolate.

At around 6.40pm, the couple made it there and though we tried hard to persuade them to accompany with us to Awfully Chocolate, they seemed to be lethargic and insisted on biking instead. But Ying Ting and Si Wei were eager to go.

So... Steven and Elaine stayed there while we went for AC. Not knowing the way there, we took a cab and the fare was S$4.30[$3.30+$1] due to peak hours.

Bought the rum and cherry chocolate cake for $26 and ate it there... It was okay... but as 'legendary' as I thought, it was opened by Stella Huang Xiang Yi, yea, that kawaii girl.

To get over our 'kanashimi' and hunger, I suggested going to the hawker there for some nice food. Wow, all the dishes seemed 1337 so Si Wei and I ordered Char Gui Tiao[crap, the wording?] for $3 each, Jun Kai ordered Laksa and Ying Ting ordered er... Yu Lou Mi Fen[I think so]. Holy crap, the amount was complete ownage but I managed to ate it all while Si Wei 'da bao' 75% of hers.

Okay, we headed back to ECP, luckily, the others remembered the twists and turns that the taxi driver made, so we could make it back on foot.

Lol, on the way, Si Wei and I had a little racing so it was quite interesting, though she was already at a disadvantage, slippers Versus sports shoes.

Found the two at JK Don, nope, not Jun Kai's Rice. Saw them getting owned by the bento set there. While we waited for them to finish eating, Ying Ting asked me to call my mum again for further confirmation of the tuition.

Oh yea, we realized that the fools behind were eager to take orders from us. But we left :p.

9.30pm, we went back to that place again and loaned some bikes and rollerblades, Si Wei, Elaine and I picked the bike while the other three took the blades. Si Wei and I blasted off first and occasionally, we returned to check their 'performance'.

Eventually, Si Wei and I made it to the Jetty and we waited for them to reach there... viewed some constellations and talked about some trivial matters. But they were taking too long, called Steven while Si Wei talked to him.

Zomg, Ying Ting had a bad fall! So, we backtracked and found them...
She had minor injuries on three parts of her body, the left knee cap, right hand and left cheek. Steven got some ice and it was applied to the wounded areas.

Some time later, we decided to head back and another crap happened, Elaine's bike's chain came loose and we had to put it back, Steven did all he could to fix it and it was fixed... at the expense of dirtying all his fingers.

Whew... so we were back... and we left the place, we stopped at a hawker centre for some drinks and I realized that I didn't take Elaine's ezlink card from the boss when returrning the receipt. Argh~

Finally, took bus 135 and I arrived at AMK interchange. Took a cab and the fare was 10 bucks.

Overall, I had a fun and enjoyable day, even with the absurd unforseen circumstances. Really, I have never enjoyed this much and burnt so much money on outing.

For some of us, school ended at 4pm. Headed home and slept for an hour before going online again.

The Financial ICA1 was a killer for me, hopefully I will be able to pass that. Anyways, what's over's over. I'll worry about it when that Financial teacher hammers me.

Which reminds me, the next paper's DBMS on Thurs. It won't be a walk in the park, but definitely easier than Financial.

Oh yea, I realised that a lot of peez changed their blogskin as well.

With the absence of Business Comm tutorials, school ended at 4pm for us... Winston suggested going to Grassroot for some Rockmusic[the name?] to get our pants and ear drums blasted again.... But ps, I was already weary so we went home instead.

Back home... no one's there... Mum's on a business trip to Kuching for some trivial matters... Sis has not come back yet... Dad... dunno where's he.

Ate the cookies I bought and read some manga till 5.20pm... then slept till 6.20pm... and off to Darren's house for my sixth lesson with him.

Today I went through Science with him. Covered Classification, Energy and Forces. Improved his common sense and taught some scientific terms.

Going back on the train, I noticed a average-looking girl who kept on beoing me and she was with her mother. I tried to act 'cool' but the next minute I realised that I was blushing red... argh...

Anyways, back home, ate some eggs with cai fan, more cookies and some beer.
After that, jackfruits plus 'ownaging' seedless grapes. Should be enough fibre.

Hmm... planning to study Financial tml, hopefully I will be able to pass with just a few hours of recap, wish me luck. I need it.

Saturday... hmm... I woke up at around 12pm as I slept at around 3am last night.

Played some o2mania and watched XIN. Nice series.

At around 7.40pm, I left for Causeway Point to watch Over the Hedge and met up with Ming Kit and Wei Jian at Burger King. We shared our views and talked about how we are doing. And they thought that i had a girlfriend already. =.= These two smart ursess' GPA are 3.946 and 3.956 respectively... haiz... I'm like nothing compared to them.

For Field of Study, Mk chose Mechatronics or sth, and WJ picked that Aeronautical thing...

At around 8.20pm, we headed to the lobby and zomg... waited for 10minutes to find ourselves a lift. Anyways, queued up for some popcorns and drinks. There was this attendant who asked if we would like to take our orders now and get the food later. We agreed but queued up eventually. lol... Saw a couple of cbs with their bfs... haiz...

8.45pm... Sim Loong and Shu Guo finally arrived... Heck, the movie starts at 8.40pm.
Seems like Psl[Sim Loong]'s working pretty hard for his A' Levels. Shu Guo was already doing very well in his course[DMD], GPA... I think it was 3.536 or sth...

Anyways, got my family combo set[2 drinks + 1 popcorn], shared the set with WJ.
The movie has already started when we got in, so we settled down quickly.

Hmm... the movie was... rather short, 1hour and 20 minutes... But it has some good moments. Especially near the end of the show, that fox drank coffee and his speed surpassed the speed of light!!

Shouldn't spoil anything, but it was definitely much better than Chicken Little, which duration was almost as this. I give it a 3.67/5 stars.

After the movie[10.20pm+], WJ and MK went to my house to play some games. I showed them my o2jam skills and they were like 'How did you do it?' 'You can see the notes ah' 'Rui Yang has become a Coordinator!' LOL. Though I'm nothing compared to Winston's skills T.T

Then we played Godzilla: Save The Earth... I know, I know, the name's lame but game isn't. We found ourselves again whilst playing and they left at 1am.

I was really tired and busy these few days. You know, my bed never felt this good for a long time...

Anyways, today our group presented our prototype to Ms Yarny. I could tell that she was satisfied overall; we only need some improvement in the navigation part. Not too sure about the other groups. But I think they did better...

Whilst in dreamland these nights, I have been thinking about my future, present and past. I started pondering why some people could handle their work with ease and excel in studies. In the end, I came to a conclusion; It was determination and dilligence.

These are the two main components to do well.... Unfortunately, I lost them. I'm slowly recovering them though... This semester, I spent some time being a bit more sociable but I think that was what hindered my studies. Cold was my soul and it may forever be.

However, no one can create their future alone. That's what I believe for now.

You may complain about the environment around you, but we are humans, if we can't change it, learn to adapt. Problems left unsolved will lead to more bullshit that will impede your road to success.

Two ICAs coming up.

DBMS: IT 2505(Monday, during lab lesson)
Financial: BM 0519(Tuesday, during Lecture time)

Stressed? Yes, maybe. It has been 5 weeks now and what have I mastered is miniature. I was too preoccupied with the term 'friendship'.

Confidence is the key factor that is pushing me foward. Whatever you do, a little confidence is needed, remember that well.

I'm just an average person, with an average IQ and average in everything.

Yea, read that. Anyways... it's actually nothing special for one who always treats his mum the same way.

For dinner, I whipped up a dish for the whole family. It's green capsicum+the belly portion of the pig[dunno what's the wording for that part].

First of all, I sliced and removed the seeds of 10 red chilli padis. Then I diced 2 onions. Next, the gravy, it was 2 tablespoons of black soy sauce+one tablespoon of wheat flour+1 teaspoon of milk.

After that, it was the cooking part... heated the frying pan, pur some oil, stirred fry the onions+chilli padis. Second, the chopped meat. 45 seconds later, the capsicum. Covered the whole crap with a lid for 1 minute. Then the sauce i mixed earlier on. Some 'maneuvers' and cover the crap again.

The whole dish tasted delicious, but we are overwhelmed by the spicyness!! Thanks to dad for suggesting 10 chilli padis... The texture of the capsicum and pork was incredible, I bet anyone would like it. Maybe.

Regardless, tomorrow's Monday... I'll probably be facing some Monday Blues... Man... Biz Comm ICA 1 too... still have not touched the textbook and this week's tutorial yet...

Hmm... even though it's just three days, it felt like a long break.

Nothing much happened these days, it was the usual stuff. Oh crap, have not touched on Biz Comm yet.... and all tutorials are left undone. I'm a last minute person...

To add on my previous post. I revamped the blogskin. It's not really that good and has some annoying restrictions...

Wanted to add some snow effects but all scripts failed miserably. Oh well, I will make shift with the background music.

I won't expect to keep this blogskin for a long time. Probably going to change it in the weeks to come.

Taught Darren earlier on. Mother Tongue... drilling and practising... lol... I managed to speak good english and chinese to him today... so I guess having enough rest's really important.

Had to edit the time and date such that it becomes 5/5/2006 as I reached home at around 3am+.

Friday, like Thursday, was another start-at-8am-day. And the first lesson was Finance, my 'weakest' module so far. As usual, the tutor was intolerable, but slowly, I could match her teaching pace and knew what she was explaining. But really, she lacks EQ.

Anyways, there was 1 1/2 hr break for us after her lesson and it was only 10.30an in the morning. We[Winston, Steven, Jun Kai, Chris and I.] went to Mac for breakfast. Met Joyce and her group as well as Hong Da's gang there.

11am+: We went to Block L's Level 5 lab and found a lab to 'slack'. Steven delivered our report for IT2691 to Q: Drive while we used the coms for our own purposes. Logging on to msn, we saw the other girls online but most of them could not be seen in the labs. Apparently without asking, they were at the fourth level.

12pm+: IT2601-DBMS lesson. Mr Lim told us that we will be able to earn participation marks in this lesson, lol. I participated without a doubt, since most of the answers could be found in the lecture slides. Guess that's 1%?

1pm+: On the way to Cine's Kbox as planned. Only 6 of us went, including me[Jun Kai, Steven, Ying Ting, Shirley, Si Wei and I], the others were not inclined to go, or had work in the late afternoon.

1.20pm+: Took the MRT to Somerset, Winston 'volunteered' to escort us there, but obviously it was because he had to take the ride to get home. The journey was 'bumpy' but eventually we arrived. Waved goodbye to Winston and on to kbox.

1.45pm+: Booked a room from 2pm to 7pm and went in[Shirley made a membership card], room no. 27? Anyways, we changed to room 26 because of some technical problems with the sound system.

2pm-7pm: Why, singing time of course! As usual, I have no talent in singing these songs =.= my lore in chinese and english songs is close to 0. Steven didn't sing much, most probably because Elaine wasn't there. Oh yea, Yvonne came as well and her singing was great.

7pm-8.20pm: Finding a place to eat. We spent close to an hour walking, climbing up stairs, escalators, crossing roads... And finally... the Ramen Ten... omg... had to wait for the service girl to call Ying Ting when there's enough room for us. Luckily some of the staff knew her, so after a few rounds of strolling, we got a place.

8.30pm: What better meal to choose in Ramen Ten than the Ramen? So I chose Cha Su Ramen and some sushi[forgot the name]. Oh yea, Pei Ying came at this time.
In my opinion, the cha su was mediocre but the soup and noodles were good. The sushi was even better, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. And yea, it tasted delicious... should have ordered sushi instead.
We[the guys] picked the Cold Jap Green Tea and we got Hot Jap Green Tea =.=. Anyways, the waitress was nice to gave us a cup of ice each. But I think she should have just switched the drinks.

9.00pm+: Almost on the completion of our dinner and Steven ordered the softshell crab sushi for Elaine for takeaway.

9.20pm+: Si Wei, Shirley and Yvonne bidded farewell. The remaining 4 of us accompanied Steven to meet Elaine, whose workplace's just about a 20 minutes walk away.

9.30pm-9.50pm: Walking, climbing up stairs, escalators, crossing roads... and bridge.

10pm-11pm+: Waited close to an hour before Elaine was finally relieved from her work.

11.20pm+: Reached Somerset MRT station, initially wanted to go home le... but Steven asked me if I wanted to go Geylang to eat Frogleg porridge for supper. Of course, who in the right mind would go to that kind of place at that time?

Anyways, while discussing on where to move, Steven and I bought a packet of tissue[brand's SOFT, the one Jk always bring] from a poor old woman standing just right outside the exit of the station. Zomg, it was selling at $2!!! Actually, I heard that she says it's only 40 cents, but Steven misheard her and gave $2...
But I gave $2 to her anyways...

11.40pm+: Went back to cine to do some rook rook xi xi.

12mn-2am: To Long John Silver, slacking, and talked some crap and more crap. Most of us were getting tired. Finally, Steven called his dad and fetched Elaine home as well.

2am: We took the taxi after seeing Steven and Elaine. Pei Ying, Ying Ting and Jun Kai passed me $30 in total. Btw... Ying Ting received a message hours ago that some taxi drivers/salesmen spray a perfume[chloroform??] that will cause one to feel drowsy and the expected things happen. Being the last guy to alight, I was undoubtedly sort of worried. One by one, Jun Kai followed by Ying Ting and Pei Ying, they safely arrived home, i guess.

2.30am: Zomg! Minutes after, the taxi driver sprayed perfume in his car!!!!
Immediately, i wanted to take out a piece to react but then i felt dumb... Why? He didn't covered his nose as well, if he's gonna make me faint, why isn't he doing that? Because he will be under the effect of that drug as well, lol.

2.45am: Finally home at last, the fare's $34... and the worst has yet to come as I'm still downstairs, saw a gang of Ah Bengs sitting together, around 7-8 of them... what dumb luck, however, with my walking speed, I stealthily avoided their sight and took the lift.

2.47am: Argh... Just when I stepped out of the lift, a cat in black and white fur spranged out and scared the hell out of me!! It escaped to the direction of my house and cautiously... I walked to my door[saw it ran down the stairs to Storey 4.]

3am+: Took a shower and Dad cooked supper for me, which was Mee Pok.
He questioned about my tardiness and I told him what happened the whole day[this whole post], lol, and he seemed pleased. Thanks for always being trusty, dad...

Hmm... it was my first time staying out so late... and it was expensive...

Hmm... so I finally got my pay... Initially it was supposed to be last Sunday but unfortunately Darren couldn't make it. lol, again, Aunt took the initiative and handed the money to me right away... taught him English today...

Tomorrow... my group will be wearing 'formal' for the e-commerce proj presentation to earn some marks... and... teaching Darren Mathematics.

Oh yea, looking forward to the after school k-box thing on Fri[I may not sound like it but I'M really looking forward]...

Today's lessons till 1pm, then followed by the night lecture at 6.40pm.[who attends anyway?]

Well... we[Winston, Jun Kai, Steven, Elaine, Chris and I] went to the LAN shop at Upper Thomson and played DOTA... hmmm... being noobs... except Winston, we got pwned pretty often for the first two games...

In the midst of the third game, Steven and Elaine left for something while we carry on playing...

And yea, we OWNED their hides[our rivals] this time round...

Then, the fourth and last game... we got owned pretty badly again...

I took the bus 162 to get back to school again... for some mindsports meeting... used the chance to tap my card too... of course, along with Steven's, Elaine's and the other guys...

So this is life, no wonder my mum always says that 'It sucks to be a human.'

Sometimes I'm doing something different, and sometimes? The same routine over and over again... I can't imagine me doing that for another 50 years of my life...

It's true that there are many people in this world who wants to live just for another day, those unfortunate ones... However, the longer you live, the more ugly sides of life are exposed to you...

Still, my resolve to repay my parents and the dream to travel around the world will not waver... hmmm... maybe it's because of the people amongst me that made me think this way? Or perhaps, Singapore isn't the ideal place for me...
